About us

A native of Memphis, TN, Stanley Franklin was the maternal grandfather of the owner, Monica Coleman. Stanley was the first entrepreneur in her family, establishing two businesses during his lifetime that the social and political climate of the 1950s in southern states wouldn’t allow growing as he envisioned. He went on to have an honorable career as a member of the United States Marine Corps and as one of the first Black postal workers in Memphis. Two generations and more than 50 years later, his memory is honored for being a trailblazer and for inspiring his family, and hopefully, others, to pursue their dreams.
